Stranger Things final was final and this is final. So says Netflix's social media team. Fans thought that perhaps the Duffer Brothers wanted to replay their ending, and that the end wasn't really the end. The theory, dubbed the “gate of conformity” online, is that the epilogue we saw in episode 8 Stranger Things In Season 5, Vecna was still doing his bullshit about hallucinating abilities. And what real the finale will air on January 7th and will witness the real defeat of Henry Creel.
Here's the evidence fans pointed out: Hawkins High School's graduation gowns were orange, not green or yellow (the school's colors). Many of the extras wore glasses in the same style as Vecna.
