The end of the era quickly approaches the “The Daily Show” Comedy Central, and the network announced at least the first stage of plans for what will happen next.
The next long -standing host Free departure of Trevora NoahThe network shared this week that comedy legends, including Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, D.L. Huguli, Leslie Jones, John Lehuzamo, Hassan Minhaj, Kal Penn, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes and Marlon Weians, lead the leading late show, starting on Tuesday, January 17, as part of her “next chapter”.
Comedy Central added that the correspondents and participants of the Daily Show are also “set to place with additional information that will be announced.”
“When we are entering the last week of Trevor, we want to thank him for his numerous contributions,” said Chris McCarthy, President/CEO of Paramount Media Networks, according to the network’s statement.
Trevor revised the show, like John Stuart before him, and when we look into the future, we are pleased to rethink him again with the help of this incredible list of talents and correspondents along with an extremely talented “daily show” team.
The final show of Noah will be aired on Thursday. The network has not yet announced whether the invited hosts would rotate for an indefinite period or in the near future will be called a constant individual host.
The Daily Show is aired at 11:00 p.m. East time on Comedy Central and is available the next morning at Paramount+.
