Robots, IPOs and artificial intelligence, oh my! 2026 poses many technical questions.
If our last episode 2025 was about the most important stories of that year, our first issue of 2026 is dedicated to open questions for this year.
You know, the technological developments that we're pondering (and perhaps… restrained prediction) could happen during 2026.
“Maybe in 2026 we will see the robots we want in our lives. But be prepared: they will definitely be controlled by people in India with Xbox controllers.”
To help me ask, “Is this something?” I couldn't think of anyone better than BetaKit's new editor-in-chief Sarah Rieger.
We will also spend some time assessing which of our The Biggest Tech Questions of 2025 had comprehensive responses (surprisingly, many of them did!) and promoted the wonderful end-of-year BetaKit series on defining Canadian tech stories of 2025.
But this is just a useful preamble to the main event. What are BetaKit's biggest technical questions in 2026?
