Possibly the best Meta Quest deal we'll see during Black Friday has already gone live. Starting today, the official Meta Store on eBay is offering refurbished Meta Quest 3 512GB VR headset for only $359.99 with 20% off coupon code.”TECH4TECH“. Better yet, it comes with extended warranty 2 years Courtesy of Allstate. The new Quest 3 typically retails for $500 and is rarely discounted. I saw this deal once before during October's Prime Day on Amazon, and it was so popular that it sold out in a day. This is probably the best deal I've ever seen on Meta Quest 3 and you should definitely buy it now rather than wait for a new deal during Black Friday.
Update: Meta Quest 3S is also on sale. from $215.99.
Meta Quest 3 Upgrade for $359.99.
Includes an extended 2 year warranty.
Meta Quest 3 is The best consumer-focused standalone VR headset and is a significant upgrade over its less expensive brother, the Quest 3S. Both feature the same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, Touch Plus controllers with inside-out tracking and mixed reality pass-through. However, the Quest 3 has higher resolution, a higher viewing angle, and a much wider sweet spot thanks to its superior pancake lens design. The Quest 3 also has much more onboard storage. For VR veterans who would likely benefit from a better display, I highly recommend the Quest 3 over the 3S. I own it myself (and I reviewed it for IGN) and spent over a thousand hours in Beat Saber alone.
TL;DR:
- Quest 3 has sharper resolution (2064×2208 vs 1832×1920)
- Quest 3 has better lens array (pancake anti-Fresnel)
- Quest 3 has below Viewing Angle (104°/96° vs. 96°/90°)
- Quest 3 has higher storage capacity (512 GB vs 128 GB)
- The same Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor
- The same Touch Plus Controllers
- The same 120Hz refresh rate
- The same Mixed reality pass-through functionality
- The same Wireless and tethered functionality
