I've been using regular headphones to help me sleep for a while now, but I never expected a company to actually make headphones specifically for sleep. Anchors Soundcore Dream A20 That's exactly what it is: earbuds designed to block out excess noise without pressing against your ear. I've been using them for a year now and couldn't recommend them enough. Right now, these sleep headphones are on sale for $107.99 (originally $179.99) is the lowest price reported price tracking tools.
The Sleep A20 are not active noise canceling headphones, which is why they have such a small and unobtrusive form factor. Instead, they use an in-ear seal to create a natural noise blocker that, in my opinion, works well enough to block out sounds. They fit comfortably and don't put pressure on your ear when you sleep on your side. It's very rare that I wake up with one of these lost in its cases after being dropped during the night, but sometimes it happens (you can use the Find My Device feature, which makes a loud sound through the headphones).
Battery life is 14 hours in sleep mode, which includes sounds from the Soundcore app (such as white noise or relaxing sounds). If you have Bluetooth mode where you can listen to Spotify or whatever else you want, the battery will last eight hours, but the charging case offers a total runtime of up to 80 hours between plug-ins.
What are your thoughts so far?
The companion app is great and has a lot of useful sleep features. You can turn off the headphones after a certain time, have a sleep tracker that records your sleep data, a smart volume feature that increases or decreases the volume depending on the sound in your room, a full equalizer, and other features.
