The story begins with a traveling salesman arriving early in the morning for an important meeting with the mayor of a quaint northern English town. In his free time he explores Barnsworth. Along the way, he meets locals who are eager to assign him an ever-expanding list of unusual tasks. Thank God You're Here is a comedic slap-former that evolves as players experiment with the environment. Each completed task opens up new parts of the city, reveals unfamiliar activities, and brings the seller closer to the planned meeting.
Expressive characters, vibrant hand-drawn animation and fully voiced dialogue fill Barnsworth. The game maintains a light-hearted tone with layers of wordplay and cheeky humor. As players travel through the city and interact with its inhabitants, players gradually change the face of the community and reveal the eccentric charm that defines this award-winning adventure.
