Winning a championship is always the main goal of any sports program. However, when you go deeper in the postseasonespecially in volleyball, this can hinder recruiting. This is a good problem to have when you bring home equipment, and Texas A&M Head coach Jamie Morrison is already working through the NCAA transfer portal.
The need to reboot a squad that is losing nine senior players, including four All-Americans and two future professional players, Coach Morrison received some big news Tuesday. It was announced that former Boise State middle blocker Eliza Sharp has committed to Texas A&M. This gives A&M another young talent to develop and brings in elite production.

Originally Coach Morrison had a five year plan reach a national title, which meant he knew the roster he now had would be an important part of turning the Aggie volleyball program into a national powerhouse. Now that he's two years ahead of schedule, it gives him a significant advantage in recruiting and puts Texas A&M in a position to quickly turn around and make another championship in the near future.
Below is key information about the third addition to the 2026 Texas A&M volleyball team.
