Tennessee Football Recruiting: ATH Legend Bey flips to Ohio State

On Monday, one of college football's best-kept recruiting secrets became a reality: Legend Bey transferred his commitment from Tennessee to Ohio State. The four-star athlete made his announcement today after rumors of a move swirled all weekend.

Bay visited Ohio State last weekend to finalize the deal after a four-month stint in Tennessee. The 5-10, 175-pound athlete currently plays defensive back at the high school level but serves as a receiver at the college level. Bey initially chose Tennessee over Texas A&M back in the summer months.

Tennessee has since picked up commitments from five-star Tristen Keys and four-star Salesi Moa. Keys is a top-five player in the country and Moa is a top-50 player. Wide receiver was certainly a highly sought-after position for the Volunteers in this class, and they bolstered this group with a star-studded class. Four-star wide receiver Tyreek King, a Knoxville native, is also part of that group.

Tennessee is left with 23 total commitments in the 2026 class. Tennessee has the No. 8 ranked class in the country, according to 247Sports. Ohio State was ranked No. 25 in the class, currently ranked seventh in the rankings.

The early signing period begins in just under a month.
