When it comes to those games that your parents would leave you wasting twenty minutes at the Apple Store, I think all of us snotty-nosed youngsters remember Temple Run fondly. Okay, maybe Fruit Ninja was more intuitive, but comparing your scores in Temple Run was something everyone could share.
And wouldn't you know it, the latest game in the series hit the soft launch within the last few months. Apparently only available in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Turkey via soft launch, Temple Run 3 is a game that I think many of you can't wait to get your hands on.
I mean, by the way, sneaked in. Considering that I couldn't find any other English language coverage of this game on Google Play or the iOS App Store. But from the looks of it, this is a full-fledged return to form with classic action and brand new gameplay.
Run rabbit, run rabbit
Highlights include the return of Doom Lagoon. The familiar misty swamps from the original Temple Run have been reimagined and updated with new additions, such as heroes with their own unique abilities. You can also hire pets to support your skills and accumulate perks to further improve your running.
Apart from this, everything you would expect from a new version of Temple Run is present, such as improved graphics and sound. At the moment, it's unclear when we'll get our hands on it in the UK or US, but judging by the update notes, Temple Run 3 is constantly getting new content, meaning we won't have to wait long.
