At CES 2026, TCL showed off several of its new smartphones. pills and routers.
Starting with the TCL Nxtpaper 70 Pro, a smartphone with pretty good specifications and the company's famous Nxtpaper display technology.
Nxtpaper 4.0 allows users to switch between different modes using the dedicated Nxtpaper key and provides a comfortable viewing experience all day long and in any scenario. This means that with one keystroke you can get classic full color mode, but also go into better focus mode with Max Ink mode, which turns your screen into paper-like monochrome. And in Max Ink mode, the phone can work up to seven days without recharging. This mode includes an extensive library of pre-installed books and AI-powered reading tools such as AI Outline, AI Audiobook and AI Podcast. Additionally, you can connect the phone to a T-Pen stylus, which allows the user to write better.
The phone features a 6.9-inch Nxtpaper display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a 5200mAh battery with 33W charging, Android 16, Mediatek Dimensity 7300, and a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. There is also a 32-megapixel selfie camera with face unlock capability. Thanks to the Nxtpaper screen, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, you can find 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of expandable storage, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance.
Nxtpaper Pro will be released worldwide in February; however, we are still awaiting information on specific Canadian pricing and availability.
