Taylor Swift Donates $1 Million to Nonprofit Feeding America

Taylor Swift is calling in the holiday spirit by making a significant $1 million donation to Feeding America, a nonprofit network of 200 food banks fighting hunger in the United States.

The charity announced the donation on Instagram, thanking the singer for her altruism. “We are incredibly grateful for Taylor Swift“This is a $1 million gift to Feeding America,” said the statement, authored by Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot. “This holiday season, her continued support is a powerful reminder of what is possible when we come together to end hunger. When we come together with people facing hunger, we can be confident that families will have a full table this holiday season and beyond.”

Swift previously donated $5 million to Feeding America in October 2024 to provide relief to communities affected by Hurricanes Helen and Milton. She has also made similar donations in the past, including $1 million for disaster relief following a hurricane that hit Tennessee in December 2023, as well as $100,000 to the family of a 44-year-old woman who died at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade in February 2024.

Most recently, Swifties banded together to enlist the support of Feeding America to help support food banks and those affected by potential cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Last October, Swifties for Hope used social media to encourage fans to donate $13 or whatever they could provide.

Swift is preparing to release the final two episodes of her docuseries “The End of an Era,” which airs tonight at midnight PT.
