#10: He can handle pressure.
Travis not only competed in four Super Bowls, winning three of them (NBD!), but also competed in Saturday Night Liveso you know he can easily handle the intense attention.
It may seem trivial, but Taylor has written several songs about her fear that her level of fame might be too much for her romantic partner. (See: “Peace” and “Sagittarius”.)
“It all depends on who you’re with,” Taylor said. “If they have a big problem with it, I guess you'll go into hiding or something, but I don't really like that because it makes me feel like I'm running from the law or something. I don’t want to feel like a fugitive, like, “Oh my God, we’re in a relationship, we better hide!”
“I think if you were in a relationship and it seemed normal, that would be good.”
And in his WSJ interviewTravis has proven that he is more than ready for the pressure that comes with being married to a powerful man like Taylor.
“Obviously, I've never met anyone who had that kind of aura… I've never experienced it,” he said. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from anything.”
“The scrutiny she gets, how much magnifying glass she gets, every single day, the paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she just lives, enjoying life,” he added. “When she acts like that, I better not act weird.”
