Sword of Convallaria will kick off its collaboration with The Witcher 3 in just a few days

After month of teasingsilhouettes of portals and everyone who correctly guessed the obvious, the crossover is finally official: Sword of Convallaria joins forces with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and yes, Geralt, Yennefer, Triss and Ciri are fully playable. If you've ever wondered what happens when a brooding monster hunter gets into a pixelated tactics RPG, XD Games is here to show you.

The collaboration will begin on November 28 and will last until January 22, 2026, giving you plenty of time to add your favorite Witcher characters to your Convallaria roster. This was revealed during a recent special preview stream, complete with a short but stylish animated trailer showing Geralt and Yennefer slipping through a portal straight into the world of Convallaria.

During the event, you'll be able to get Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, and Ciri as playable units, each customized in pixel art style while maintaining their signature style. Geralt participating in grid combat? Ciri blinking between the tiles? Does Yennefer destroy her enemies with pure attitude? Yes please.

You can also purchase Witcher-themed gear at various events. Expect weapons like Zireel, Obsidian Star, Flame of Fear and classic Witcher swords, as well as event skins for Geralt, Yennefer and Triss if you prefer the full cosplay mode. This is the kind of crossover that would make even Buttercup write a ballad about the drop odds.

The event comes just as Sword of Convallaria continues to gain traction on Steam, iOS and Android, and this collaboration appears to be the biggest crossover the tactical RPG has done to date.
