Switch 2 Elden Ring Tarnished Edition delayed to 2026 to “allow time for performance adjustments”

FromSoftware has postponed the release of the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 port Elden Ring to “give time for performance adjustments.”

In a brief statement, the developer apologized for the delay but said it was “sincere.” [working] for release,” which is now expected sometime in 2026. Unfortunately, a more precise release date is not provided.

A port of Elden Ring for Switch 2, Tarnished Edition, was announced at a Nintendo Direct presentation back in April.. It is planned to include the base game and its Shadow of Airdtree DLC, as well as new armor and a new feature for customizing the appearance of Torrent.
