Styx: Blades of Greed Just Dropped a New Gameplay Trailer

The wily goblin returns in Styx: Blades of Greed

NACON And Cyanide Studio kicked off the New Year 2026 by unveiling the first gameplay trailer for Styx: Blades of Greed. More than eight years after his last release, the sharp-tongued goblin returns in a single-player third-person stealth adventure, releasing on February 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

In Styx: Blades of Greed, you explore the Iserian continent, a world built on heights, hidden routes, and multi-level spaces. Stealth focuses on player creativity, encouraging experimentation instead of ready-made solutions. Each mission supports multiple approaches, allowing you to make your way through areas or manipulate enemies. You can even set traps or strike from the shadows in your own style.

Styx also gains access to a powerful new resource called Quartz, which gives him the ability to influence his enemies and even manipulate time. New tools expand his mobility, including a glider for moving through the air, metal claws for climbing walls, and a grappling hook that allows him to reach hard-to-reach places. Skill trees and runes support progression, improving abilities and subtly shaping the flow of the game.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game features a large-scale vertical environment and features a Metroidvania-inspired structure for the first time in the series. As Styx unlocks new abilities, he can gain access to previously inaccessible areas, rewarding exploration and mastery.

As the third game in the Styx series, with over two million players worldwide, Blades of Greed refines the core ideas of the franchise by putting freedom, creativity and stealth at the center of the gameplay. Styx: Blades of Greed will be released on February 19, 2026. So stay tuned.
