Crave

Boston Blue

Craving the premiere date: Saturday, October 18 (the day after the CTV premiere)

In this Blue blood spin-off, former NYPD detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) takes a position in the Boston Police Department.

Boston Blue was created Best of Los AngelesStarring Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis, as well as Donnie Wahlberg (reprising the role of Danny from Blue blood), Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters) and Maggie Lawson (Psyche).

Disney+

There are no notable new releases this week, but it's worth mentioning that Disney+ Star was renamed Hulu this week. Disney+ also quietly raised the price during all this Hulu news.

Diplomat (Season 3) [Netflix Original]

The action begins immediately after the finale of the second season. Kate, Hal and Grace must deal with the death of the President and Grace's sudden appointment as Commander-in-Chief.

Diplomat was created by Deborah Kahn (Homeland) and stars Keri Russell (Felicity), Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle), Allison Janney (Mother), David Gyasi (Carnival Row) and Bradley Whitford (West wing).

Splinter Cell: Deathwatch [Netflix Original]

Genre: Adult animation, action
Lead time: Eight episodes (about 30 minutes each)

Legendary spy Sam Fisher returns to action to help his rookie uncover a global conspiracy.

Based on Ubisoft Montreal. Splinter Cell video game series, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch was created by Derek Kolstad (John Wick series) and features the voices of Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), Janet Varney (The Legend of Korra), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Nice place) and Medicine Hat, Joel Ulett of Alta.Can I get a witness?).

Netflix Canada premiere date: Friday, October 17
Genre: Animated musical comedy

Two brave children team up with a family of magical animals to stop the worst villains from taking over their town.

Based on Roald Dahl's 1980 novel of the same name. Tweets co-written and directed by Phil Johnston (Zootopia) and features the voices of Johnny Vegas (Perfect), Margo Martindale (Reasonable), Natalie Portman (Black swan), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Mississauga, Ontario. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never I Never).

Based on the original 80's TV series of the same name. Matlock was created by Jennie Snyder Urman (Jane the Virgin) and stars Kathy Bates (Adversity), Skye P. Marshall (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Jason Ritter (Parenthood), David Del Rio (Pitch perfect) and Leah Lewis (Nancy Drew).

Prime Video

Prime Monday Night Hockey

Prime Monday Night Hockey starts on Monday, October 13th. The 2025-26 season will begin with a Thanksgiving Day matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings.
