Craving the premiere date: Monday, January 5
Genre: Animated documentary
Lead time: 1 hour 38 minutes

The documentary explores the different backgrounds of half-brothers Peter and Seth, including a 16-year age difference and the former's mother being Cree and the latter's being white.

The film was directed by documentarians Seth Skriver of Toronto and Peter Skriver of Shamattawa First Nation.

Two ex-spouses try to solve a murder in which they believe each other is the main suspect.

Based on the novel of the same name by Alice Feeney. His and Hers was developed by William Oldroyd (Eileen) and stars Jon Bernthal (Bear), Tessa Thompson (Westworld), Ymir, Pablo Schrieber of British Columbia (Wire) and Marin Ireland (Sneaky Pete).

People we meet on holiday

Netflix Canada premiere date: Friday, January 9
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Lead time: 1 hour 57 minutes

After years of vacationing, two polar opposites wonder if they can truly be the perfect couple.

Based on the novel of the same name by Emily Henry. People we meet on holiday Directed by Brett Haley (Hero) and stars Emily Bader (Fresh murders), Tom Blyth (Billy the Kid), Sarah Catherine Hook (White Lotus) and Jamila Jamil (Nice place).

Prime Video

Copenhagen test

Prime Video Canada (StackTV) premiere date: Monday, January 5 (first episode, new episode every Monday)
Genre: Sci-fi spy thriller
Lead time: Eight episodes

In the future, an intelligence agent must prove his loyalty after being hacked.

Copenhagen test was created by Thomas Brandon (Heritage) and Mississauga star, Ontario's Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Melissa Barrera (On top), Sinclair Daniel (Another black girl), Brian d'Arcy James (13 reasons why) and Mark O'Brien from St. John's, Netherlands (Republic of Doyle). It's also worth noting that the series was filmed in Toronto.

Note that the series aired in its entirety in the US in December, so if you're interested, you might want to avoid spoilers.

Downton Abbey: Grand Finale

In the summer of 1930, the family has to deal with a public scandal and financial problems.

Sequel to the novel by Julian Fellowes. Downton Abbey Series, Downton Abbey: Grand Finale Directed by Simon Curtis (Downton Abbey: A New Age) and features many of the series' returning stars, including Hugh Bonneville (Robert), Michelle Dockery (Mary), Laura Carmichael (Edith), Jim Carter (Charlie) and Raquel Cassidy (Phyllis), and Paul Giamatti (Leftovers) joins the cast.

Night Manager (Season 2)

Genre: Spy thriller

Former military officer Jonathan Pine tries to expose a conspiracy that could destabilize the nation.

Based on John Le Carré's 1993 novel of the same name. Night Manager stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Olivia Colman ( Darling), Alistair Petrie (Rogue One), Douglas Hodge (Great), Diego Calva (Narcos: Mexico) and Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones and the six).
