Gary “Money” Mounfield, English musician, best known as a bassist Stone Roses And Primal Screamdied. He was 63.

Raised in Crumpsall, Manchester, Mounfield joined the Stone Roses in 1987 after previously being a member of Madchester scene rival Waterfront. The bassist played on both Stone Roses albums (1989). Stone roses and 1994s Second coming) and performed with them until their disbandment in 1996.
Mounfield then became a regular member of Primal Scream, one of three other bands he said he would like to join (the other two were Jesus and Mary Chain and Oasis).
