Homeland Security Adviser Stephen Miller gave a fiery speech that directly pointed to Biden-era immigration policies that contributed to the horrific terrorist attack on two National Guard members serving in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.
Both National Guardsmen remain in critical condition after being ambushed by a gunman identified as 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, according to recent reports.
Lakanwal, according to CNNentered the United States on a temporary visa issued to him in 2021 by the previous administration as part of Operation Welcome Allies.
This program was an operation conceived after on former President Biden's disastrous withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan in August 2021 to coordinate the evacuation, processing, and resettlement of vulnerable Afghan civilians, some of whom were working alongside U.S. forces.
The Biden administration has assured the American people that those eligible for the program have undergone rigorous vetting. Then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at the time that “no one” would come to the United States “who (hasn't) undergone a thorough vetting and background check.”

Of course, the only people who bought the hype were the very reporters Psaki was talking to, and those who did not yet realize that the country was being run by someone other than a former president with limited cognitive abilities.
Miller in an interview with the magazine Fox News late Wednesday, pointed out the obvious fact that bringing in people from “the most dysfunctional societies on Earth” was a bad idea. A bad idea with a domino effect that led to members of the National Guard being targeted by an Afghan National Terrorist initially allowed into the country by the same weakened President.
“We have never faced a threat like this. Twenty million people brought into our country from the most dysfunctional societies on earth… no testing, no conditions, no rules,” Miller said angrily (and rightly). “For four years in a row they have flooded this country, and now more blood is being shed as a result.”

President Donald Trump addressed the nation military on Thanksgiving Eve, something he probably didn't expect to have to do under the circumstances, claiming that Lacanwal “was flown in by the Biden administration” from Afghanistan, a country he called “a hellhole on earth.”
As a result, Trump said his administration “will retest every foreigner who has entered our country from Afghanistan under Biden.”
“We must take all necessary measures to ensure the removal of any foreigner from any country who does not belong here or benefit our country,” the president said. “If they can’t love our country, we don’t need them.”
Biden has attracted countless enemies of this nation under the guise of a massive humanitarian effort. The blood spilled on the streets just a few blocks from the White House on Wednesday is all in his hands.
