Stella Sora announces official launch date for the light-action anime-style RPG

  • Two 5-star trekkers guaranteed
  • Up to 70 trekker tickets and 70 disc tickets will be given away.
  • Cross-platform release October 19.

After opening pre-registration three weeks ago, Yostar finally announced the official launch date for Stella Sora, the studio's upcoming anime-style RPG for mobile devices. Coming simultaneously to iOS, Android, and PC on October 19, this fantasy adventure takes you on a journey across the New Continent with charming female travelers.

It's a generic romance with an amnesiac protagonist, but to me it looks so fresh and vibrant that I'm still excited about the launch, especially since there will be up to 70 Trekker tickets and 70 CD tickets up for grabs in the first week – and freebies are always fun, right? At least two 5-star trekkers are also guaranteed, and with gachas that's quite generous.

It's now being called a “light RPG” so I think it won't bog you down with hardcore work as you fight alongside your trekkers. There's a roguelike element to the game in the form of procedurally generated content with a user-friendly auto-combat system that keeps you relaxed even when facing epic bosses.

I suppose it's the Trekkers who really take center stage here, as they each offer their own storylines and interactive dialogues that you can unlock and bond with. Combat seems designed to be a strategic affair, as you can strategize the best combination of primary and support roles for the three Trekkers in a team to climb the Monolith's floors with ease.

In the meantime, you might want to check out the exciting action Blue Protocol: Stellar Resonance reviewed by Seanwhich is actually available right now if you're looking for an anime-style adventure to take on while you wait.

However, pre-registration is currently still open on the App Store and Google Play for the free adventure!
