In 2025, Asmodeus ditched the starter sets in favor of a pair of standalone decks called Spotlight Decks.

Each Spotlight deck includes a 50-card deck (four of which are exclusive) and a 16-card booster pack. It's worth noting that the 50-card decks include some cards from previous sets. Each deck has a named leader.

  • Legends of the Force
  • Go to the speed of light

Spotlight Decks are also available in 6-packs. These are mainly intended for tournaments and large groups of friends, as you get three Spotlight decks per box.

The booster packs include 24 packs of 16 cards each, for a total of 384 cards. Booster packs sell for $6 each, so booster boxes get you four packs free at MSRP. However, most booster packs sell for around $90, which works out to less than $4 per pack. The 2025 boosters are the cheapest right now. Go to the speed of light sits at $73 and Legends of the Force priced at $88. If you want the original Spark of rebellion kit, the Booster Box for $91 is what you need.

Each Star Wars: Unlimited booster pack includes: 9 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, 1 rare or legendary card, 1 leader, 1 base/token card, and 1 foil card.

Star Wars: Unlimited Prerelease Boxes

Despite the Prerelease Box name, these are not exclusive, limited-time sets. A Prerelease Box is essentially an Elite Training Box or MTG Set, albeit on a smaller (and cheaper) scale. Each Prerelease box includes six booster packs containing 16 cards each. You'll also receive two exclusive promotional codes for the Rebel and Empire leaders included in the pack. In addition to cards, Prerelease boxes contain damage counters and a quick start guide.
