The Christmas Day game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings turned into a real Dawgs brawl.
While the Vikings won the game 23–10 and officially knocked the Lions out of playoff contention, the real story may have been Snoop Dogg's epic halftime show.
Rapper completed at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota alongside country star Lainie Wilson and Kpop Demon Hunters' HUNTR/X. Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo came out and joined them all. sing “White Christmas.”
Snoop was submitted by Pal Martha Stewartwho read a humorous version of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” adapted for the “Gin and Juice” singer.
During the “Holiday Halftime Party” special, the rapper was accompanied by a 30-member choir, a drummer and a team of dancers as he performed several of his hits, including “Nuthin' But a G Thang,” “Who Am I (What's My Name)?” and “Drop it like it’s hot.”
HUNTR/X completed “12 Days of Christmas” and Wilson electrified the crowd “Santa Claus is coming to town.”
All this led to the Bocellis taking the stage for White Christmas.
Snoop wore a bright red suit and coat, standing out from the white ensembles worn by his colleagues.
“NFL, Netflix and your Uncle Snoop for Christmas?” Snoop talked about his show. “We bring music, love and good cheer to the world. It's holiday magic that Santa can't fit in his bag.”
X viewers who turned on Netflix to watch the game were delighted.
