If there's anyone who should know a thing or two about malicious prosecution, it's former FBI Director James Comey, who helped orchestrate the corruption investigation of Donald Trump over alleged, never-proven “Russian collusion.” Now Comey himself is in hot water, as the Justice Department has charged him with making a false statement to Congress and obstructing a congressional investigation related to his 2020 Senate testimony.

His alleged lies: He denied authorizing anonymous leaks to the press about the Hillary Clinton secret emails case and Trump's fictitious alleged ties to Russian election interference plots.
However, according to John Solomon of Just the News, the Department of Justice has receipts show otherwise:
Federal prosecutors said Monday that they have unearthed scores of personal emails showing that then-FBI Director James Comey openly said in the days before the 2016 election that he expected to soon be working for President-elect Hillary Clinton and that he was being briefed by a senior FBI aide about efforts to anonymously provide information to the media.
Oops. Have you forgotten about this, James?
Big developments today in John Solomon v. James Comey. The lead prosecutor in the case, Lindsey Halligan, released handwritten notes that were “found” by the FBI that clearly show Comey was well aware that his assistant was leaking information to the media. He wrote… pic.twitter.com/HAP4hty1Z6

He wrote: “Well done, friend!”
Try to protect this 😂
The records also show Comey thought he would work for President-elect Hillary Clinton after the election.
So the guy who protected Hillary Clinton's emails and knew about the fake plan to frame Trump as a Russian agent thought he was going to get a new job?
They really never thought she would lose. Incredible.

The Justice Department says the emails prove Comey knew about the leak, authorized it, but testified otherwise:
Halligan's statement said the emails showed Comey knew of and encouraged Richman's contacts with the media, contrary to his statements to Congress.
“Pursuant to the above correspondence, Richman actively corresponded with members of the media regarding the defendant or on his behalf, including anonymously,” the DOJ court filing states.
That wasn't the only action in the case Monday—prosecutors also argued that Comey's attempt to dismiss the case because he was being pursued “vindictively” was a lot of nonsense:
Federal prosecutors on Monday urged the federal judge overseeing the criminal case against former FBI Director James Comey to reject Comey's arguments that he be subjected to vindictive persecution ordered by President Donald Trump in a lawsuit that directly defended Trump's social media posts calling for Comey's prosecution.
“Through news reports, social media posts and speculation, the defendant weaves a story of what he calls 'egregious constitutional violations' that resulted in his indictment for making a false statement to Congress and obstructing a congressional investigation,” prosecutors said in the lawsuit. “When the strict legal standard is applied to the facts, it is clear that defendant has failed to show that the Constitution requires the Court to take extraordinary measures to dismiss this case.”

Exhibit 13 includes the stunning, damning evidence of then-FBI Director Comey's handwritten note (on FBI Director's letterhead) proving Comey's knowledge of, and even participation in, a criminal conspiracy against Trump.
As one of the most dishonest and sanctimonious figures in “The Swamp” at once, James “86 47“Comy has finally faced the music – and he doesn't like it one bit. He will probably find these emails harmful to his cause, to say the least.
