Join the chaos and mystery in Skopje '83
PM Studios and indie developer Dark-1 have announced that their tactical adventure roguelike Skopje '83 will release on PC via Steam on November 7, 2025. The game takes place in a bombed-out, darkly comic version of a Balkan city. The game invites players to fight, scavenge, and survive together as they unravel a story steeped in conspiracy and chaos.
In Skopje '83, the city is doomed to be bombed in seven days, and time becomes the most dangerous enemy. Each run gives players the opportunity to advance further, collect weapons and blueprints, and unravel even more mysteries. Every decision matters; one wrong move could end it all, but every death opens a new path through the changing ruins of the city.
Combat combines frantic shooting and brutal hand-to-hand combat with strategic survival. Players must scavenge for supplies, craft upgrades, and fight off hordes of twisted abominations lurking in every corner. Between trips, the bus, known as the DOM, serves as a mobile base, both a safe haven and an armed vehicle where players can upgrade, plan, and prepare for their next descent into chaos.
The world also changes dynamically after each death. Enemy locations, loot, and paths change with each attempt, making each playthrough unpredictable. Behind the destruction lies an unfolding mystery rooted in an alternate history of the Balkans, occult experimentation and strange retrofuturistic science.
Designed for cooperative play, Skopje '83 thrives on teamwork and escalating chaos. The more players join, the deeper the story gets and the wilder the action gets. Add it to your Steam wishlist and get ready to wander through the wreckage when it arrives on November 7th.
