Silksong DLC—so I guess it’s time to start silkposting again – Destructoid

When Hollow Knight: Silk Song “silkposting” came out, the practice of making fun of Silk Song having no news or release date for many years, went extinct. And this is quite natural, since the game has already been released.

Team Cherry has now confirmed a new DLC for Silk Song but he didn’t give a time frame, so it’s time to start the silkworm machines again.

According to BloombergTeam Cherry, the indie studio behind one of the biggest gaming hits of all time, said it is continuing to work on Hollow Knight: Silk Song and that the game is by no means finished. “We continue to work on the game, doing what excites us,” the studio said.

“And we look at what more we can do, what more we can bring to this experience and how this world can expand,” it added.

As for the deadlines, there are none. The developers have promised that they will reveal more about the things that are in development, or at least hope to do so. The Cherry team chooses their public appearances very carefully, thus avoiding unnecessary hype or, worse, disappointing fans. Silk Song there was no word for years, only for the developers to announce its final release date weeks before release.

It's a good tactic overall, but it's damaging to the collective conscience of the show's fans.

Speaking of which, now that we know there's even more content on the way (but have no idea when it'll be released), it's time to launch the silk pillars. For example, I loved the previous years Hollow Knight: Silk Song and seeing players come up with all sorts of troll posts and jokes to make people think. Silk Song was about to fall.

And I'd love to see it again, this time focusing on DLC. There's already plenty of speculation about what might come next, so it's a great basis for some good old-fashioned silken messaging, hope, and coping. Half-life 3The crowbar racks (I just made that up) have dried up after we've been disappointed in ourselves for the umpteenth time, so I'm also hungry for some more fun and hypothetical trolling.

Gaming is the best subculture, and silkscreening (or something like that) is proof of that.
