College football was in chaos on Wednesday. Michigan fires head coach Sherron Moore at the school said he had an “inappropriate relationship” with a school employee. He was later jailed as part of an “assault investigation”.
Moore's firing immediately set college football's coaching carousel back on track just after the dust seemed to settle. One name that immediately popped up was new. LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin.

Kiffin had already caused turmoil with his decision to leave the Ole Miss Rebels for LSU ahead of the team's College Football Playoff selection. Instead of potentially leading the Rebels to glory, he will try to help turn LSU into the powerhouse it once was.
Founder of Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy wrote on social media that Michigan should double the amount LSU paid Kiffin to take the Tigers job. But Kiffin cut the line.

“Instead of @stoolepresidente you #ComeToTheBoot Together we cannot be defeated,” he wrote.
Portnoy appeared to move on from Kiffin hours later when he named several coaches he'd like to see take over at Michigan. He named Jon Gruden, Nick Saban, Dan Lanning from OregonArmy's Jeff Monken, Vanderbilt's Clark Lee, Arizona State's Kenny Dillingham and Colorado's Deion Sanders.
For now, Michigan has named Biff Poggi as its interim coach as the team prepares for the Citrus Bowl against Texas Longhorns.
