Senate to vote on resolution to fund US government

The Senate on Monday again votes for competing measures to open the US government, but, as expected, not one of them will be taken, and federal closure will probably continue for at least a few more days.

President Donald Trump said earlier on Monday that another unsuccessful voice would have caused mass dismissals. Thousands of federal employees were knocked out or ordered to work without payment, when financing their agencies ended five days ago.

There is no predictable ending between the two sides, since they continue to trade in the fault.

Democrats adhere to the requirements that the legislation is engaged in healthcare, while the Republicans pursue a “pure” bill on financing.

The White House has warned from last week that the constant dismissal of federal employees is “inevitable”.

The press secretary Karolin Livitt repeated that on Monday, saying that management and budget management was already working with agencies that people will have to postpone.

“We do not want people to quit. But, unfortunately, if this shutdown continues, the dismissal will become an unsuccessful consequence of this, ”she said.

Democrats adhered to the support of the proposal headed by the Republicans, because they say that this undermines medical access for Americans with a low income.

They want any funding bill to ensure that subsidies for medical insurance for Americans with a low income level is not valid for the expiration, and does not pay back the reduction of the Trump administration to the Medicaid medical care program.

Republicans repeatedly accused the Democrats of closing the government of providing healthcare to unregistered immigrants – something, that democratic leaders deny.

Livitt today urged democratic legislators to soften.

“There is nothing to negotiate. Just open the government, ”she said.

In separate interviews with the NBC “Meeting with the Press” on Sunday, the main democrat of the chamber, Hakim Jeffris and the best Republicans, the alcohol of Mike Johnson, everyone accused the Party of another of an ongoing confrontation.

Jeffris accused the Republicans of “lies” against the intentions of the Democrats of negotiations “because they lose the court of public opinion.”

But Johnson said that the Democrats were “frivolous” and negotiations do not believe.

“They do this to get a political cover,” he said.
