Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) pushed back Friday opposes President Trump's call for arrest and potential “execution” of him and five other Democratic lawmakers over their calls for military personnel to ignore illegal orders.
Referring to recent murder of conservative activist Charlie KirkKelly accused Trump of threatening Democrats, saying this exposes war veterans potential violence from his legion of loyal supporters.
“Just two months ago Charlie Kirk was killed, and now… Trump's instinct is to call for our execution,” Kelly, a former astronaut and Navy pilot, said in MSNOW.
Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-New Hampshire) said Trump should don't add fuel to the fire political violence that affected both sides of the political spectrum.
“It's very telling that the president is so unhinged,” says Goodlander, a Navy veteran. told CNN. “This is a disturbing trend of political violence that all Americans should condemn.”
Still, Goodlander insisted. has no plans to retreat: “Fear is contagious, but so is courage.”

Trump denied calling for the execution of Democratic lawmakers and said he was simply pointing it out. cheating is a crime this potentially carries the death penalty.
“I'm not threatening them, but I think they have serious problems,” he said in a Fox News radio interview. “In the old days there was death.”
Republicans tried to brush off the controversy, saying both Democrats and Trump could have chosen their words much more carefully.
The controversy erupted Tuesday when Kelly, Goodlander and other Democrats published a video clip entitled “Don’t give up the ship” it reminded military personnel that they should not obey anyone's illegal orders.
They did not cite any specific orders that they believed might be illegal.
Trump's efforts to place US troops on city streets to quell protests and assist in his mass deportation have had filed several lawsuits. Some analysts also question its legality. deadly campaign to target suspected drug traffickers in the Caribbean Sea.
Trump responded Thursday with more than a dozen posts accusing lawmakers of “incitement” and “treason” and calling them “traitors.”
