Prosecutors don't want Tea Time – A TikToker accused of killing a pedestrian during a livestream back in November will be allowed back on the streets pending trial… claiming she poses a threat to public safety.
The Lake County State's Attorney filed a document Friday… outlining charges against T. Time (real name Tynesha McCarthy-Rhoten).
According to prosecutors… Tea Time was broadcasting live to 14 people when she ran a red light and hit a 59-year-old man. Darren Lucas.
Tea Time allegedly continued to drive forward after initially hitting Lucas… hitting him instead of stopping her car. Lucas was subsequently pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Authorities say the influencer's 7-year-old grandson was in the car with her at the time of the crash. They note that she was tested and did not have any alcohol in her system.
Prosecutors insist that Thea Time's pretrial release is dangerous…arguing in documents that her alleged actions “pose an incredible risk to every driver and pedestrian.”
They say Thea Time's distracted driving during an alleged live broadcast took her attention off the road, leading to the “preventable death of Darren Lucas.” Prosecutors add that creating and actively participating in the livestream was “selfish.”
Additionally, prosecutors claim that Thea Time has previously been arrested for drunk driving, and they claim she has driven with a suspended license in the past… so they say she simply cannot be trusted to comply with a court order not to drive until her trial.
Tea Time was arrested on Tuesday and booked on two felonies… negligent homicide and aggravated use of a communication device resulting in death.
