Other Ocean announced free beta testing dates Scrap daddiesgiving players the opportunity to experience the colorful and fast-paced looter shooter as early as possible. The studio is inviting players to test the game ahead of its Early Access launch, with registration still open on Steam. Interested players can visit the Scrap Daddies page on the Steam store and request access to participate in playtests.
The first stage begins with closed beta testing, which will take place from January 9 to 11. During this period, a select group of players will be able to learn the game's core systems, combat, and progression. Participants will receive an in-game survey that focuses on what they liked, what could be improved, and what elements stood out the most. Other Oceans plan to use this feedback to fine-tune gameplay balance, pacing, and overall feel.
After the closed beta, Scrap Daddies will move into open beta from January 15th to 18th. This test will be available to everyone, allowing players to team up with friends and take part in the game's chaotic underwater battles, treasure hunts and larger scale battles. Player feedback will once again play a key role as the developers continue to shape the gameplay experience.
Once the open beta is complete, Other Ocean will turn its attention to the full Early Access release. A launch date is expected to be announced soon. Players who want to stay up to date can wish-list Scrap Daddies on Steam so they'll be ready when Early Access releases.
