SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset for $149.99.

SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

The Arctis Pro is a very high-end gaming headset, so it boasts features not found in other gaming headsets. These include a separate external control center with an OLED display, simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, and its signature bonus: hot swappable battery system. SteelSeries includes two batteries: one for use in the headset and one for charging at the base station. So you will get wireless freedom without waiting for recharge.

Sound quality is also excellent, thanks to large 40mm drivers that deliver plenty of volume with little distortion, and plenty of equalizer presets via the Steelseries GG app, as well as the ability to create your own. The ClearCast remote microphone features background noise cancellation and can be stowed away when not in use. The build quality of the Arctis Pro is as good as SteelSeries headsets. It is primarily made from a combination of steel and aluminum alloy, and the headband has a strong steel core while still being flexible for adjustability.

The ear pads are made from the breathable AirWeave fabric used on the Actis Nova 7 headsets. I actually prefer them to the earbuds on the new Arctis Nova Pro headset. The Arctis Nova Pro is noise-canceling, but the unfortunate side effect is that it uses a less breathable faux leather material to provide a tighter seal to your ears. Plus, your ears get sweaty during long gaming sessions.
