The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be without defensemen Roland Milligan Jr. and Tevon Campbell when they host the Toronto Argonauts on Friday night.
Milligan Jr. hasn't practiced all week due to a foot/knee injury he suffered in last week's win over the Ottawa Redblacks, while Campbell has been limited in practice all week with a head injury. The latter will miss his fourth straight game since mid-September.
Milligan Jr., who was named the league's Most Outstanding Defensive Player last year, has recorded 52 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, four interceptions and one touchdown in 15 starts this season. He hasn't missed a single regular season game yet this year.
Defenseman Marcus Sayles was listed as available on the team's official injury report despite not practicing all week with a knee injury. The reigning All-CFL cornerback has 47 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle and two interceptions in 13 starts at borderline cornerback.
Other players ruled out of Saskatchewan are defensive lineman Tommy Stevens (knee), defensive lineman Shane Ray (shoulder), linebacker Melik Straker (illness) and defensive backs Jackson Ford (knee) and Nelson Lokombo (ankle).
Veteran forward Brett Lauter, who missed last game with a back injury, is questionable. Head coach Corey Mays told the media Tuesday that re-dressing recently signed kicker Michael Hughes, an American, is an option. the team will need to rest the American player elsewhere in the lineup..
