Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 won the Golden Joystick Awards last night, taking home six awards, with developer Sandfall Interactive being named Studio of the Year.
Sandfall success corresponds to Larian's victory in 2023winning the same number of awards, including Game of the Year and Studio of the Year.
“This has been an incredible year for us,” Sandfall CEO and Creative Director Guillaume Broche said during the ceremony.
“We don't really understand everything that's going on, but I want to say a huge thank you, first and foremost to all the wonderful people who worked on this game at Sandfall Interactive, and also a huge thank you to all the players around the world who voted for us.”
Jennifer English and Ben Starr of Clair Obscur were honored for their roles as Mael and Verso in the performance categories.
The game also won awards for Best Narrative, Best Visual Design and Best Soundtrack.
Elsewhere, Sucker Punch Productions' Ghost of Yotei took home Console Game of the Year and Best Sound Design, while Team Cherry's Hollow Knight: Silksong took home PC Game of the Year and Best Indie Game (Self-Published).
Dogubomb's Blue Prince won Best Indie Game, while Aggro Crab's Peak won Best Multiplayer Game and Streamer's Choice Awards.
