Get ready for the prequel SANABI: A Haunted Day
SANABI: A Haunted Day will be released on Nintendo Switch on January 15, opening a new chapter SANABI universe for a wider audience. Published NEOVIZ Developed by WONDER POTION, this 2D platformer expansion features fan-favorite character Major Song and will be available as a free digital download on Nintendo eShop.
Serving as a prequel to the main game, A Haunted Day takes players to an earlier period in Major Song's life, long before the events of SANABI unfolded. The story chronicles his first meeting with the Brigadier General and delves into the events that shaped his path. Players will navigate a dangerous robot junkyard filled with hidden secrets, environmental hazards, and intense platforming challenges, while uncovering key narrative details that deepen the overall story of the series.
A NEOWIZ representative shared that the release of the Nintendo Switch will allow even more players to experience this important chapter in SANABI's story. The team was encouraged by the strong response already seen on Steam, where the DLC launched in November to overwhelmingly positive reviews. Players highlighted the fast mid-air movement and fluid combat as standout features that make the game both challenging and memorable.
To commemorate the upcoming release of the Switch, SANABI is currently participating in the Steam Winter Sale. The base game is 35% off, and the soundtrack is also 10% off until January 5th.
