White had 47 tackles and seven sacks last season. In just four seasons with the Aztecs, he totaled 123 tackles, 19.5 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble.
Where he will end up next remains to be seen. However, having spent his last four years at San Diego State, White will be ready, willing and able to contribute to whatever team he chooses.

Meanwhile, in early October, the NCAA Division I Administrative Committee approved dates for the creation of a one-time transfer portal for college football. The 2025-26 college football transfer portal is currently scheduled to last 15 days. It will last from January 2 to January 16, the NCAA announced.
Looking ahead, all First Division transfer window notifications are scheduled for January 2-16. As with the previous standard, athletes on College Football Playoff teams still playing will be given 5 days, starting the day after their team's final game, to enter the transfer portal.

Additionally, players have 15 days to log into the portal, but there is no deadline for them to commit to logging in. Traditionally, the commitment deadline is how late a school can place a player in the admissions office.
The only caveat: if the head coach is fired, the transfer portal for players will not open immediately. The NCAA said moving forward players will only have 15 days to enter the portal after a coaching change, instead of the previous 30 days. Players will also have to wait five days after a new coach is hired or announced.
Finally, graduate transfers will also not be able to enter the transfer portal until January 2nd with the new one-time portal window. All these new rules are sure to shake things up, but the transfer portal will still remain as interesting and exciting as ever.
