Sabrina Carpenter Bids Farewell to Short n’ Sweet Tour

Short and sweet tour forever!

“This show truly was everything I've dreamed of since I was a kid,” the singer writes after a 14-month journey that ended earlier this week.

14 months and over 70 performances later, Sabrina Carpenter finally wrapped up her Short n' Sweet Tour earlier this week with a six-night run at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. On Friday, the singer said goodbye to the long journey on social media with a series of social media posts reminiscing about the Lightning in a Bottle tour.

“This show truly was everything I had dreamed of since my youth,” Carpenter wrote about the tour. “This coupled with a real house being the home of the stage + working with the sweetest and most talented hardworking souls every day, so many laughs and moments that seem straight out of a sitcom means I'm feeling every bit of this finale and taking it hard!”

She wrote to fans: “You guys sold out some of my bucket list venues and reminded me every night why I love what I do and I'm so lucky to do it. I really think I'll look back on this tour when I'm old and gray and wish I could put my go-go boots back on just one more time.”

Carpenter went on to thank her dancers, band and crew members backstage, and also expressed her gratitude for the $1.5 million the Short n' Sweet Tour raised for non-profit organizations.

“This show would have failed without my audience. You accepted me 100% and I am very grateful to you. I doubt I will ever go on tour where I can sing in a toilet again. I will never be able to recreate that and I will never try!” Carpenter added.

“If you came to see the show, if you watched and cheered us on from afar, or if you only tuned in for the 3-second slot, I can't thank you enough. I love you and miss you already.”

On TikTok, Carpenter also humorously noted some of the things she'll miss about the Short n' Sweet Tour:

Man's best friend the singer will return to tour in 2026 – presumably with a completely new stage act no arrests – as she headlines South American Lollapaloozas in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, as well as headlining Coachella in April.
