Farming skills also make their debut in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
Fellhollow, the first major free update for RuneScape: Dragonwilds, is now available and takes players into an exciting new region created by corruption and corruption. This major expansion introduces new quests, dangerous enemies, massive boss encounters, and a stunning realm that lies between life and death.
In this update, Death guides players as a new quest giver and companion, leading them through mist-filled valleys, dead forests, ruined structures, and landscapes overrun by the Withering Rot. Spreading Corruption changes the structure of exploration and survival, adding rotting enemies, environmental threats, and a new powerful status effect called Soul Rift.
As the effects of the Withering Rot increase, Soul Rift changes combat, exploration, and progression. New armor sets and consumables crafted from Fellhollow materials help resist its effects, and careful management of the effects unlocks powerful abilities. Rift Vision reveals hidden paths, ghostly doors, and secrets unseen by the living, and Imaru's Gaze attracts the attention of Fellhollow's apex predator, Imaru the Soul Eater.
Imaru was once the guardian dragon of this region, but his grief turned him into a terrifying, soul-devouring creature. As Death searches for a champion who can end his curse, players continue the Kuldra Saga storyline in an epic multi-stage boss battle against this corrupted dragon.
The update also adds the farming skill to RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Inspired by the classic RuneScape system but reimagined with a magical twist, farming adds new depth to survival from the earliest stages of the game. Mounts will also be coming with this update, starting with the Terror Bird, which can be unlocked by completing the Fellhollow questline.
With even more regional expansions planned for 2026, Fellhollow lays the groundwork for the future of RuneScape: Dragonwilds, which is now available on Steam Early Access.
