Tigers discuss Tarik Skubal
There's been every indication in recent weeks that the Tigers are keeping the door open to a potential Tarik Skubal trade… but the club isn't too interested in negotiations.
But it seems that this is not entirely true.
According to Buster Olney, who tweeted on the topic, the Tigers remain in talks with several teams to keep their finger on the pulse of the market for the best pitcher in the world.
It's the right thing to do under the circumstances… but the club should focus on signing him.
The Tigers continue to discuss trade options for Tarik Skubal with other teams. It's still unclear if they'll actually move the left-hander into a major deal; as you can imagine, the asking prices are huge. He could be the biggest determining factor for the new…

The Mets want…everyone
Yesterday we talked about Mets interest in Joe Ryan. This is not surprising given the fact that the New York club clearly needs reinforcements on the mound.
But established pitchers such as Framber Valdez and Ranger Suarez are also on the club's radar. The same goes for Tatsuya Imai and Michael Kingwhose resumes don't match the other two in MLB.

Is Paul Goldschmidt back in Arizona?

Robert Suarez to the Dodgers?
We know that one of the Dodgers' (few) weaknesses is in the bullpen. That's why I'm not surprised to see Robert Suarez, who performed well in San Diego recently, is in the rumor mill there.
Whether he's interested remains to be seen.
