Rogers launched the next part of the “It's Our Game” campaign by announcing the “Great Canadian Jersey.”
To sum it up, The Great Canadian Jersey invites Canadians to donate their old hockey jerseys. The pieces from each jersey will then be taken and stitched together to create unique hockey jerseys that Rogers says “represent every aspect of the sport and our nation's deep history in the game.” The jerseys were designed by former Ontario Hockey League (OHL) defenseman Cameron Lizotte.
The race was started by Rogers team athletes Connor McDavid from Edmonton Oilers and Marie-Philippe Poulin from PVHLMontreal Victoria. Both athletes are donating jerseys from their personal collections, and both jerseys will be collected in person in both Montreal and Edmonton.
From today, January 5th, until January 15th, Canadians can drop off T-shirts at participating Rogers stores across Canada. All Canadians who donate a jersey will have the chance to win an Ultimate VIP Hockey Road Trip to an away game of any Canadian National Hockey League team during the current 2025-26 NHL season.
The latest kits will be unveiled later this month and will be featured as part of a national advertising campaign. You can visit Rogers.com/TheGreatCanadianJersey information about participating locations and information to mail if you are unable to donate in person.
