Rightfully, Beary Arms Goes 1.0 for PC and Xbox on 27 January 2026

There's some hell of action waiting for you in Rightfully Bear Handled

Daylight Basement has announced that Rightfully, Beary Arms, their charming but chaotic roguelike Bullet Hell, will officially release in version 1.0 on January 27, 2026 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Series X|S. The announcement was made during IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition, highlighting the game's evolution from its Early Access days into a fully realized intergalactic adventure.

Players once again find themselves in the clutches of the Bear, a deceptively cute but very dangerous bear, now armed with a variety of new weapons, mods, and upgrades. Version 1.0 introduces fresh story beats, save options and mid-game achievements, and a whole wardrobe of newly designed outfits, allowing Beary to bring style and firepower to every chaotic encounter. Gamers can take on menacing final bosses, including the menacing Jolly Guys and shocking Battery Boys, while experimenting with weapon transformations like the Harvest Rag and Fish Sword, powered up for maximum damage.

Roguelike combines strategy and unpredictability, offering randomly generated bonuses that benefit both Bear and his opponents by adding layers of risk and reward. Between levels, players explore a pixelated galaxy filled with colorful enemies, stylish dangers, and a musical soundtrack that keeps the action alive and interesting. Success comes from repeated runs, learning patterns, and mastering a combination of costumes, weapons, and attachments to earn the title of the most fearsome teddy bear in the galaxy.

“Who said a cute bear can't learn new tricks?” said Chris Bischke, co-founder of Daylight Basement Studio. “Since releasing on Steam Early Access over two years ago, we've spent countless hours making Beary's adventures more delightfully chaotic than ever. We can't wait to see what shenanigans fans will get him into when version 1.0 launches next year.”
