Cops say “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Dr. Wendy Osefo lies about being the victim of a home robbery… but a couple of months after she made her report, she went on a podcast – and doubled down on her claims.
Wendy appeared on the “Gabbing With Gib” podcast back in September 2024 and was asked about the alleged burglary we first reported on in April 2024… and the clip is resurfacing now that she's been charged with fraud.
In the interview, Wendy explains why she believes the robbers “targeted” her.
The fact is that on Friday, law enforcement authorities said that Wendy and her husband falsely reported home robbery and theft for insurance fraud.

Police say the investigation revealed Wendy returned items she said were stolen and also posted a photo on social media of a ring she said was also stolen. Police also say the Osefos have a surveillance system on the home and the footage shows no signs of a robbery.
For her part, Wendy's rep told TMZ… “Osephos, along with her legal team, are looking forward to their day in court. “They respectfully request privacy at this time as they focus on their family and the upcoming trial.”
