In the finale of the first season of the AppleTV+ series Rhea SeehornHeroine Carol Sturka, also known as “the unhappiest man on earth,” was ready to up the ante against the Others after discovering that her time without the hivemind virus may be limited.
Meanwhile Manousos (Carlos Manuel Vesga), who along with Carol is one of only 13 people on earth also free of the virus, finally reached Carol in Albuquerque after a treacherous journey from Paraguay. Although the two had a rocky start at first, Carol agreed with Manousos that drastic measures were needed to save the world. Carol continued the question she asked back in episode three: would the Others give her an atomic bomb if she asked for it? Answer: yes.
Although we'll have to wait until season two to see exactly what Carol has planned, series stars Rhea and Carolina Otter (Zosya) sat down with E! News for an exclusive interview in which they responded to fan theories, including popular internet speculation that Carol is actually an alien, which would explain her immunity to the virus.
Rhea's reaction? “I don’t think so,” she said with a laugh. “But sure, keep it.”
