Resident Evil: Requiem ends the spooky season in terrifying style as Capcom officially opens pre-orders on all major platforms, including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and for the first time on the Epic Games Store. The game will release on February 27, 2026, and players who pre-order will receive Grace's rugged Apocalypse costume as a bonus reward.

Additionally, the recent Road to Requiem show, hosted by Maggie Robertson, who voices Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu, revisited the franchise's dark legacy, tracing its roots back to the Raccoon City incident in 1998. The event celebrated decades of Survival Horror and shared new details about the upcoming chapter of the series. You can see for yourself right below.

Resident Evil Requiem will be released in two versions: Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game, as well as five character costumes, four weapon skins, two visual filters and two weapon mascots. Capcom also announced a special collaboration with Fortnite to celebrate its arrival on the Epic Games Store. Players who purchase the game there will later receive exclusive Resident Evil-themed Fortnite items, including Grace's costume.

Nintendo fans can look forward to a limited-edition Resident Evil Requiem Pro controller for Switch 2, featuring a dark metal casing, available at launch. In another new addition to the series, the main character Grace will be immortalized in the form of an amiibo, arriving in the summer of 2026.

Capcom also announced a new Resident Evil Showcase will premiere early next year, offering a closer look at Requiem's ​​gameplay and story. For collectors, the Premium Steelbook Edition will include the full game, all Deluxe content, and a lenticular map available while supplies last.
