Capcom opened pre-orders for Resident Evil: Requiemand at the same time, a skin appeared that allows you to dress up the main character Grace Ashcroft as Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.
As detailed in PlayStation BlogThe Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil Requiem includes a number of goodies that may justify the $80 price tag for longtime fans. In total, it adds five “costumes”, including one “Lady Dimitrescu”, four weapon skins, two filters, two mascots, an audio pack with classic tunes, and something called “Letters from 1998”.
There are also a few skins possibly themed after the 2004 film Resident Evil: Apocalypse, including another Grace skin called “Apocalypse” that will be available to anyone who pre-orders the game, be it the $70 Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition.
There's something very funny about the fact that Lady Dimitrescu appeared in Resident Evil Requiem before the series' main character, Leon Kennedy. I mean, you'd be naive to think Leon won't show up, despite Capcom insisting otherwise, but his presence still hasn't been confirmed.
You can pre-order Resident Evil Requiem on PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2 and PC from all the usual retailers. Oh, and speaking of Switch 2 – and this should come as no surprise to anyone – List of GameStop confirms that the physical version of the game for Switch 2 will come with a game key and not a cartridge.
The game will be released on February 27th.
