Redmagic 11 Pro review – “Cooler, faster, and somehow just…better!”

I'll be honest. I didn't expect to be impressed by another Redmagic phone. I used several older models before (9C Pro, 10 Air, 10S Pro), and I thought they had already peaked in the “gaming phones with character” niche.

But Redmagic 11 Pro actually surprised me, in the best possible way. It just feels better than the older models, and I didn't even believe that was possible. Let's talk about Why.

Design and Feel

Redmagic has always had that “cyberpunk element in your pocket” aesthetic, and it still applies here. But the 11 Pro feels more refined. The weight is well balanced, and the display? Smooth. Scrolling, swiping, everything you can imagine, everything has that effortless fluidity.

When I pick up this phone, I feel like I'm holding in my hands a piece of forbidden magical technology. It's not even close to anything else. But that's not enough to describe it.

Yes, the cooling is very good

This is where Redmagic flexes hard.

The water cooling system on this phone is absurd in the best sense. They call it “AquaCooling” but to be honest I just call it “I Can Marathon”. Genshin Impact so my phone doesn't turn into a toaster.”

Long sessions in COD Mobile, Honkai Star Railor whatever it is that you are currently into will remain consistently smooth. There are no dropped frames, and in my experience the phone never got warm to the touch.

This is one of those features that sounds like marketing fluff until you actually feel the difference. Of course, you can turn it on and off as you please, just like the fan – and yes, it still has a fan!

Talk about chill phone (see what I did there?).

Now about the triggers. YES.

I can't overstate how much I love the built-in shoulder buttons. These are not tricks. This is literally a game changer.

IN CODE Mobilebeing able to match ADS and fire to triggers makes everything sharper and more responsive. Your reaction times are faster simply because your thumbs aren't doing all the work. It's like playing with a mini controller, but it's mobile and intuitive.

If you play shooting games, you will love this. This works in other games too, but let's be honest – it's most useful in shooters.

Battery life that just goes on and on…

When I talk about super-long battery life, that's what I mean. This thing can handle long hours of Discord + work + YouTube Music + web browsing + gaming sessions without asking for a charger at the end of the day.

If you're not playing, you can even extend this time to three days. For a gaming phone? It's wild.

Charging is also fast, so even if you do need to plug it in, it won't disrupt your rhythm for long. Oh, and if you don't want to plug it in, don't panic—WIRELESS CHARGING IS FINALLY! Hooray!

But we need to talk about the camera.

So here's the downside: the camera…Great. Not bad, not painful, just great.

It gets the job done if you take regular photos, but it's not as good as the iPhone 17 Pro or Samsung S25. Sure, you can argue that this is a gaming phone, but you can still play games on these phones with more cameras.

Overall, if you're hoping for flagship Pixel/Samsung photo magic, it's not here yet. I say “yet” because you never know what magic Redmagic might unleash next.

I really hope that Redmagic continues to improve the camera, because the phone deserves to be great both in games and in everyday life. I believe this will be the best phone on the market.

We can always look on the positive side: it has improved compared to the older models. So I remain hopeful.

Should you get it?

If you're a gamer who wants only the best (especially someone who plays shooters or demanding games), the Redmagic 11 Pro is my top recommendation. The cooling system has no analogues, and the battery life speaks for itself.

Yes, the camera could use an upgrade, but everything else about this phone feels like an upgrade, no matter what you're doing. It just feels better than the older models, and I didn't even believe that was possible.
