Raptors waive centre Mo Bamba after two-game stint

TORONTO – The Toronto Raptors announced Tuesday that they have waived the contract of center Mo Bamba.

Sevenfooter appeared in two games after signing as a free agent on December 29.

Bamba did not score in his short time at the club.

Toronto brought him into the frontcourt while starter Jakob Poeltl continued to recover from a lower back injury.

The 27-year-old was selected by Orlando with the sixth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Bamba averaged 6.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in seven seasons in the NBA.
