A picture is beginning to emerge of how a supposedly “vetted” Afghan who assisted the CIA on missions overseas and then carried out a terrorist attack on our shores went wrong.
For now, President Donald Trump and his administration have taken steps to prevent another heinous attack like the one carried out this week in Washington, D.C., against two National Guardsmen, one of whom (Andrew Wolf) continues to fight for his life at this hour.
As we previously reported, 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom died from her injuries, and we had a bittersweet preview of the event. from her father on Thanksgiving Day.
Pres. Trump appears to have already begun to undo much of the chaos that occurred under the former president. Joe Biden, saying Friday afternoon that no directive has been signed on behalf of Biden during his presidency, the use of a fountain pen is legal.
My colleague Rusty Weiss wrote earlier in the day that the president also announced in a Truth Social post that the US would “permanently suspend migration from all third world countries to allow the American system to fully recover, end all millions of Biden illegal entries… and expel anyone who is not a net asset to the United States or unable to love our country.”
Of course, this was only part of what Trump wrote, but this and other new directives fit perfectly into the search for answers to the question of how a terrorist (I would prefer not to name him) was able to gain access to our homeland in the first place.

As I mentioned above, questions continue to remain about the presence of Afghans in the United States. Someone who is now providing some answers is the director of the National Counterterrorism Center under the direction of the President. Trump, Joe Kent. He general in X's post about how the Biden administration used a measuring stick that “only tested [him] serve as a soldier in the fight against the Taliban, AQ and ISIS in Afghanistan.”
The barbaric terrorist attack by an Afghan terrorist in Washington, D.C. has sparked righteous outrage over the Biden administration's policy of importing people hostile to our country.
It is true that the terrorist who carried out the attack in Washington was “vetted” by the intelligence community, however, he was only screened to serve as a soldier to fight the Taliban, AQ and ISIS in Afghanistan, he was NOT screened for his suitability to come to America and live among us as a neighbor, integrate into our communities, or ultimately become an American citizen.
He continued, explaining that as the chaotic troop withdrawal from Afghanistan took place, Biden's people did not apply “the previous vetting standards applied to special immigrant visas, nor any common-sense vetting or care for Americans.”
During Biden's disastrous exit from Afghanistan, his administration casually used the screening standard described above as the standard for entry directly into the US, ignoring previous screening standards applied to special immigrant visas and any common sense screening or concern for Americans.

Incidents like this are not isolated – they are the predictable result of prioritizing speed and volume over safety. As we move forward, we must commit to a strengthened and comprehensive vetting and removal process to protect our homeland and ensure that only those truly aligned with American values are accepted to prevent future tragedies.
And what has been the “result” of vetting mismanagement under Biden, whether in Afghanistan or on the Mexican border? The answer that Director Kent gives should open the eyes and scare all Americans: (emphasis mine)
As a result, more than 85 thousand Afghans—including people with backgrounds similar to this shooter— were quickly allowed into our country without thorough checks what protected us in the past. And those are just the Afghans; wider Immigration from Muslim-majority countries and regions has increased, with more than 2 million people entering during the Biden administration.often with minimal controls amid record numbers of border crossings. It's a deadly combination.

It's a lethal combination – that's no understatement. Just ask the families of National Guardsmen who we should be praying for this weekend. In an update to his post Friday afternoon, Kent didn't mince words about “why there were terrorist attacks in DC”:

That's why the DC attack happened. The solution is to round up everyone Biden let in and deport them immediately.
Former Trump 45th National Security Advisor Mike Flynn took to his X account on Friday to support the “option” proposed above by the counterterrorism director to solve the hot-button issue of immigration and national security: We'd essentially have to deport them all from the US, period.
