Public mobile further increased data on some of its plans with a new Boxing Week exclusive promotion.
Last week Public Mobile has increased data on its two best plans correspond Newly released Freedom Mobile Boxing Week offers 5G+ roaming plans in Canada, the US and Mexico. Now, like other carriers, Public has rebranded its Boxing Week plans and added more data.
Here are Public's plans:
- $50/150GB 5G Canada/US/Mexico (previously $50/100GB)
- $40/100GB 5G Canada/US/Mexico (previously $40/70GB)
- $35/20GB 5G Canada/US/Mexico (previously $35/10GB)
- $30/8GB 5G Canada-wide (unchanged)
- $25/4GB 4G Canada wide (no change)
- $20 for 1GB 4G across Canada (unchanged)
The Telus-owned carrier did not provide an end date for these deals during Boxing Week; however, according to the company's website, “these deals won't last forever.” These offers usually end in early January, so I would consider signing up now given the holidays are this week and January is just around the corner.
Notably, Public isn't the only provider offering 40/100GB and 50/150GB plans. Freedom has just released a new promotional video for Boxing Week. is offering a $9 per month discount on several bring-your-own-phone plans, bringing some prices down to $40 for 100GB and $50 for 150GB, the same as Public.
