MSNBC Briefing Host Jen Psaki suggested Vice President J.D. Vance is “scarier” than President Donald Trump and hinted that Second Lady Usha Vance needs to be saved from her marriage.
During episode belonging I had it In the podcast, Psaki, former President Joe Biden's former White House press secretary, talked about how she believed Vance had the ambition to become president and that he was “willing to do whatever it takes to get there.” Psaki, talking about how she wonders what's going on in Usha Vance's head, encouraged the second lady to “blink four times” if she needs help.
“I think the little Manchurian candidate, J.D. Vance, wants to be president more than anything,” Psaki said, adding that she wondered “what’s going on in his wife’s head.”
“Like, are you okay?” Psaki continued. “Please blink four times. We… will come here, we will save you.”
Psaki added that the vice president is “in some ways scarier” than Trump. The hosts agreed and, along with Psaki, described Vance as “smarter,” younger and “more ambitious.”
Psaki went on to describe J.D. Vance as “a flexible person in the sense that he's a chameleon who molds himself into what he thinks the public wants to hear from him.”
Times of Israel reported that J.D. Vance, who came to Israel as part of efforts to promote a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, was traveling with Usha.
The former White House press secretary's comments were met with criticism from people such as Ellie Bufkin, a former Fox News producer, and Tim Poole, the program's host. From Tim in real lifewho called Psaki’s words “deeply misogynistic” and called the Democratic left a “cult.”
