As the new season of Fallout on Amazon Prime Video approaches New Vegas, the game that spawned the show is being honored by a hockey team in Texas this weekend. The Texas Stars of the American Hockey League have announced that their annual Fallout Night will take place on Saturday, October 25th at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas.
Prime Video is not participating in this promotion as it is strictly a partnership with Stars and Bethesda Game Studios. As seen in the image above, Stars players will wear Fallout-themed jerseys during warmups, which will then be auctioned off on behalf of the Texas Stars Foundation. The Texas Stars Team Store is also selling several replica jerseys and “limited-edition Fallout-inspired merchandise.” There will also be photo opportunities, cosplayers, and Fallout-themed food and drink.
Earlier this fall, Bethesda released an update to Fallout 76 that makes it easier to build a camp. The studio also announced that Walton Goggins will reprise his role as the Ghoul in the Burning Springs expansion for Fallout 76, which will officially release in early December.
Goggins will also play a big role in Aftermath Season 2which premieres on Prime Video on December 17th. Prime Video shared some first look images from the new season, which featured some New Vegas moments. The location was inspired by a fan-favorite game. Fallout: New Vegaswhich is widely considered one of the best entries in the franchise.
There may be more announcements this week, Bethesda has determined. October 23rd as Fallout Day. If there is any word about Fallout 5it will probably be there. But if you're hoping for news about Elder Scrolls 6we would argue against it.
